Updated: Unfortunately, it looks like the weather gods have not favored us and instead turned their cold, icy gaze on Northeastern Indiana so we’re canceling the Tweetup for Tuesday evening. With the holiday season just about to reach full swing, we’re looking at rescheduling in January. We’ll email everyone who RSVPd when we’ve firmed up our plans and announce the new date here, there and everywhere. We’re looking forward to meeting everyone in person and hearing your thoughts about Twitter. Stay warm, fellow babies.
Citizen Wayne, in conjunction with Northeast Indiana Public Radio (@WBOI on Twitter), is holding a Tweetup at their studios! Not only do we want to meet you, the Fort Wayne Twitterati, but Citizen Wayne wants to use this opportunity to create a story about Fort Wayne’s Twitter scene. Our editors and contributors will be circulating and asking you about Twitter — it’s uses, drawbacks, potentials, and even to share a story or two about what Twitter does for you. If you don’t want to contribute, that’s just fine — we hope you have a great time. If you do, please think about what Twitter means to you. Just to let you know, we will be recording the party. Not to pick out individual conversations, but to capture the ambient noise of conversation to play behind our piece.
Light refreshments and beverages (alchoholic and otherwise) will be provided. We hope you can come!
